John M. "Jack" Stoddard (1930–2021) was a son of Edgar Clarence Stoddard and Julia McKeone Stoddard. He served as historian of the Hubbardston Area Historical Society, dedicating himself to preserving the community's story. His obituary described him as "extremely proud of his Irish heritage" — a heritage that flowed through his mother's McKeone line and his grandmother Loretta Timlin's Irish roots. Jack's funeral was held at St. John the Baptist Church, the same parish that anchored the Irish-Catholic community his family had been part of for generations.
